RENAULT is expanding its sporty Gordini line up with a cheaper version which replaces the Twingo GT.
Priced from £11,395 the Twingo Gordini 100 will be on sale in January.
Powered by a 100bhp 1.2-litre turbo petrol engine the new model has a claimed top speed of 117mph with claimed average fuel economy of 49.5mpg. Emissions are 132g/km.
The sporty city car will be available in the trademark Gordini blue paint with white racing stripes as well as black and white finishes.
While not as quick as the limited edition Renaultsport Twingo Gordini introduced earlier in the year, the newcomer is some £3,000 cheaper.
Inside the Gordini 100 has special trim including dark cloth upholstered seats embossed with the Gordini log as well as blue door trim inserts and a blue leather-trimmed steering wheel.
Standard kit includes 15-inch alloys, air conditioning, Bluetooth and cruise control with speed limiter.
