Hi
I'm looking at a Rover 25 1.6 iXL, 2003 registration. 40,000 miles on the clock with 11 months MOT.
Price being asked is £1800, this seems a bit low for a car of this age and mileage.
Should I be suspicious?

Answer
Well CP,
While this car is £700 less than the national average, and 10,000 miles under the real average miles for that car, it could be a genuine 'used car deal'
A datacheck will revela if its stolen, crashed or a write off. If the seller sees trustworthy and the Garages who are stamped in the service book don' tell you anything bad about it (do ring them up!) then it's a genuine deal.
It is probably cheap because few people want a noisey unimpressive Rover. But what else, even on the used car market, of that size, age and condition can you get for £1,800?
Bugger all - check it out then snap it up!
Matt
