Question

hi,

I have been offered a Rover 75 SE Club automatic with 69 700miles.

I have heard this is not an advisable car to buy as it comes with a lot of problems, e.g. gearbox failure, head gasket problems and so on.

I need advice and possibly a review of this car.

Please help!

Answer

Hi

There are these articles in our knowledge base that can help you decide if you want this car:

Like all cars, there are good, reliable, well looked after versions on the market, and there are "problem cars."

There are three things to do:

1. Check the price and mileage is reasonable

2. Check for faults

3. Get a data check and if still worried a warranty

If you take those steps, then you have nothing to fear. Enjoy your new car....

Matt
