I am in the middle of buying a from a friend Rover 400 with 82,616 miles, year 1999.
I paid £1500, Is this a good price? Also I just found out there has been no service history for over a year and was told I need to do one in the next month which will cost me £200.
Should I pay for this? Is this car worth it?

Breathe a sigh of relief! The price is OK if the car is in good condition.
Shop around as you should be able to get the service for less than that. Try the garages listed in our garage directory and at the end of the fault check guides for the Rovers.
