SEAT is launching what the Spanish company heralds as one of the most attractive offers in its 25-year history in Britain.

Anyone who buys one of a selected number of new models will pay no VAT – and that means a discount of 17.5 per cent.

The deal is in celebration of SEAT’s most successful sales quarter in the UK and extends not just to the list price of the vehicle but also to factory-fitted extras.

So if for instance a customer wanted a new SEAT Leon 1.4 TSI Sport with optional metallic paint and Media Pack, the total cost would come to £15,545 rather than £18,235.

Qualifying cars include all Ibiza SC and Ibiza five-door models – with the exception of the Cupra and Cupra Bocanegra - all Ibiza ST models, Leon S, S Emoción, SE and Sport derivatives; all Altea and Altea XL versions and all Exeo and Exeo ST variants with the exception of SE Tech and Sport Tech cars.

The campaign is also available for local small business sales, though conditions apply, and relates to qualifying cars ordered and handed over at participating SEAT dealers by the end of this year.
