SKODA has announced that its new Yeti range will be priced from £13,750 when it goes on sale from September.
It is the fifth model in the Czech company's line-up and will be available in four trim levels with a choice of five engines and two or four-wheel drive.
It is also expected that sequential shift transmission will be offered with the 1.2-litre 105bhp petrol engine.
The entry-level Yeti E will be on offer in front-wheel drive guise with a choice of 1.2 -litre petrol or 2.0-litre turbodiesel 110bhp diesel engines.
The standard specification includes air conditioning, remote central locking, driver and passenger front side and curtain airbags, single CD player audio system, 16-inch wheels and front electric windows.
The Yeti S costs from £14,250 and will be offered with front or four-wheel-drive and a choice of four engines including the entry-level 1.2-litre petrol unit and optional DSG transmission.
This model gains 16-inch alloy wheels, front fog lights, rear electric windows and a driver's knee airbag.
The Yeti SE is priced from £15,650 and will also be available in either front wheel drive or four-wheel-drive including dual-zone air conditioning, cruise control, touch-screen six-CD player, rear parking sensors and larger-diameter 17-inch alloy wheels.
The engine choices range from the 1.2-litre petrol unit to the 140bhp 2.0-litre turbodiesel.
The flagship Yeti Elegance will cost from £17,600 and will come with a choice of five engines including a four-wheel-drive 2.0-litre turbodiesel generating 170bhp.
Extra equipment will include an off-road button, electronic stability programme; heated front seats, bi-xenon headlights, full leather upholstery and automatic rain-sensitive wipers.
