Used Car Expert ask, "What do I get if I buy a Used Approved Subaru?"

Are the cars inspected?

“Yes.”

Do they have a history check?

“The “Gold” Car data check verifies that the car has not been stolen or written-off, and is not subject to any outstanding finance agreement. A Vehicle Mileage Check then confirms the mileage is accurate. A separate certificate confirming that each of these checks has been made is supplied with your Proven Subaru.”

What kind of cars do you sell?

“All Subaru Proven vehicles are less than 7 years old / 80,000 miles, whichever comes first (7 years / 60,000 miles on Impreza P1 derivatives).”

What’s included…

Warranty? “Subaru has unlimited mileage protection against breakdown and repair costs for both parts and labour for 12 months. This cover is both extendable and transferable.”

Exchange policy? “Subaru cars that if we can’t resolve a demonstrable fault arising within the first 30 days or 1000 miles of your ownership (whichever arrives sooner), you will be entitled to an exchange or a refund, if an appropriate exchange cannot be found.”

Recovery? “Your Proven Subaru comes with 12 months cover for motoring emergencies in the UK and throughout continental Europe. Subaru European Assistance includes the following :
Local recovery/roadside and home assistance, Onward travel/hotel accommodation
Car hire, Repatriation of your Subaru to the UK.”

What else should I know?

“The Subaru Direct programme allows your Dealer access to hundreds more cars.Vehicles comply with their original new Subaru specification and any replacement items are Subaru approved, conforming precisely with the original specification of the vehicle. All "Direct" vehicles pass through Subaru UK's preparation centre, where Subaru's professional team use all their experience to ensure that your car comes with complete peace of mind.”
