What to look for:
Check the paperwork to see if the cam belt has been changed on schedule. On most engines the cam belt must be changed within 70,000 miles.
What it means:
Whilst the cam belt breaking on this car doesn't usually do other damage, it is best to ensure it is changed on time. Beware on Turbos there is a greater chance that the engine will be damaged.
