SUZUKI has introduced an on-line interactive quiz as a means of gathering information about prospective buyers of its cars.

The quiz is being promoted as a bit of fun to see which colour car most suits a person according to their lifestyle.

Those taking part are asked to select from a range of lifestyle options that start with a simple choice of baseball cap, high-fashion shoes and sun glasses. The next choice is cinema, football or shopping, followed by chocolate, coffee or crisps and finally there is a choice of music plus sports, cosmetics and pets.

Having collated all of this information on personal preferences the site offers to configure the car in an ideal colour to suit the user.

However, this can not be done until the user has completed a detailed questionnaire in which they have to give their name, address, e-mail, telephone number and intended month and year of their next car purchase.

Suzuki says: "An interactive quiz has been launched on the UK website www.suzuki4.co.uk ahead of the new Alto city car arriving in dealer showrooms in March.

"Surfers can take part in the short online questionnaire to reveal which colour Alto they are, based on a series of choices which best match the respondent's lifestyle.

"According to the results of the poll so far, 37 per cent have been blue Altos, signifying buyers who are determined and know exactly where they are heading.

"Pink Altos are not far behind at 33 per cent of those who responded, which is a colour that is ideally suited to shopaholics and to those who follow the trends to keep up with the latest fashion.

Suzuki spokesperson Rebecca Morrison, says: "Colour is an important element when motorists look to tailor a car to best reflect their persona. The on-line quiz is designed to give motorists a little helping hand and to inform buyers as to how the Alto can be part of their way of life.'
