Is a 2001 Susuki Grand Vitara worth buying in 2009.. it is 8 years old?

Hi

Suzukis are surprisingly reliable (and have been since 2000) and durable. Provides you are not paying over £2,500 and mileage is under 100,000 miles, it is a car worth considering.

If you look in the small 4x4 section of our magazine, or search with the online price tool, you will see that there are not that many small, cheap 4x4s out there... you're only other option if that is the kind of car you want is the Toyota Rav 4.  But for the same money, you have to buy a year older car...
