A STUNNING design concept which gives a strong hint at how the new Vauxhall Vectra will look has been unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show.
The GTC coupe has a bold front with heavily chiseled vertical vents flanking twin grilles and a sweeping rear which is dominated by angular lamp clusters and twin exhaust outlets.
Inside is state of the art instrumentation featuring a clean cut and functional layout never before seen in a Vauxhall.
The four-seat coupé is powered by a 300bhp, 2.8-litre V6 turbo petrol engine and features an intelligent, electronically-controlled four-wheel drive system, which provides optimum traction and stability as well as excellent agility.
It is also fitted with Vauxhall's Flex4 foldaway seating system. The backs of both rear seats can be folded by remote control, creating a spacious three or two-seater with flat load floor and up to 1020 litres of luggage compartment capacity.
Although shown as a coupe, the front, rear and interior design is likely to be carried through to the new Vectra which will make its debut next year. Insiders say that the coupe could become the high performance VXR version of the new car.
