Im looking to buy a Golf Gti (W Reg from 2000).
My only real concern is the mileage the car has done. It's nearly done a 100,000 miles. According to the seller the brakes, cambelt, coil pack and starter motor have all been replaced recently.
I was just wondering if it is worth progressing with the sale or if an RAC/AA inspection would show any potential problems with the car better than myself inspecting it?
Any information would recieved would be greatly appreciated.

The reason Used Car Expert exists is because I had a bad experience with an AA inspection - it saved me nothing on a very bad car I bought...
100,000 miles is 'OK' for a car like that, provided it is priced fairly.
But, you are taking a risk buying a car with over 85,000 miles... So do check it for common faults.
