THE coupe version of the Volkswagen Passat has been turned into a five seater with an upgrade which includes sat nav as standard across the 11 model range.
Priced from £22,520 the entry level 1.8-litre Passat CC is £515 more than the previous model, launched two years ago.
Bluetooth connectivity is also being added to the latest CC while GT versions will be fitted with leather upholstery, cruise control and parking sensors.
The GT models cost from £25,160 – an increase of £1,000 although VW says the new equipment is equivalent to an extra £3,000.
The fifth seat has been created by removing a storage box which divided the rear passengers.
All versions of the Passat CC have dual zone climate control while the GT is fitted with adaptive suspension as well as 18-inch alloy wheels.
The range topping 3.6-litre V6 CC GT with a six-speed semi-automatic DSG gearbox now costs from £32,995. Diesel versions start at £25,920.
