A HOT version of Volvo’s S60 saloon has been developed by German performance specialists Heico Sportiv.
The special edition S60 T6 Design will be available only in left hand drive, cost around £53,000 and production will be restricted to 100 versions, all in metallic black.
Power from the turbo-charged three-litre engine has been boosted by around ten per cent to 330bhp reducing the 0 to 60 acceleration time from 6.2 to 5.8 seconds.
Top speed remains electronically limited at 155mph and fuel economy is a claimed 27.4mpg on average.
The T6 Design retains its four-wheel-drive system and has extra body kit including a front spoiler and rear diffuser and comes with 19-inch alloys.
Heico has been producing hot Volvos for more than 20 years and is a partner of Volvo in Germany. Volvo says it is not planning to make the S60 Design part of its official UK line up.
