Hi

Is it avisable to wait until March 09 when the new plated cars come out to dip into the second hand car market for a Mondeo upgrade?

Is it only the franchised dealers that will adjust prices accordingly?

Hi

If you are buying very nearly new, then yes, you should wait. Dealers will want to shift older number plates and meet their quarterly bonuses.

But, if you want something older than 6 months, then now is the time to buy.

Dealers have mountains of stock, December cashflow is terrible and they will do deals.
