We need a car for our daft European Banger Rally and hoped you had some advice.
We're driving 1500 miles and need a car for 4 big adults for less than £200 that has available parts.
We were thinking a Ford Granada, a Volvo 240 or 740 or maybe even an Audi 100.
Any better ideas or advice on buying one of those 4?

Sounds like fun! I would look to buy at Auction to try and get more for the money. What about a Vauxhall Frontera? Or a Daewoo Espero (its a Vauxhall under the badge, so parts are no problem, its reliable and its one of the cheapest brands on the market).
There are also Ford Mondeos on the market for that - they will be more reliable than a Granada. You could also consider an Audi 80.... I could go on forever....
